Alchemical Transformation
At its core, alchemy is about the transformation of substances.

I’m Alchemical Studies it’s important to comprehend the nuances of terms and the totality of their implication. To understand what “transformation from one substance to another” means we must understand that the word, SUBSTANCE is not used in Alchemy as linear, nor as materialistically in the English language that we use in ordinary society.
Substance in Alchemy
‘Substance’ carries significant weight, representing the core or essential elements of existence.
From Aristotle’s perspective:
it’s the individual essence that bears properties.
For Spinoza:
it’s the singular foundation of all reality.
Transformation includes the physical transformation of base metals into noble metals (like gold)
But more importantly,it all is to lead to the metaphorical transformation of the self, aiming to elevate one’s spiritual state.
Spiritual Alchemy
Spiritual Alchemy refers to a seven-stage process of spiritual renewal and transformation.
Using the identical principles of Material Alchemy,inner transmutation occurs, altering the trajectory and nature of the very soul.
Metaphorical Use: Alchemy is often used as a metaphor for achieving spiritual perfection by overcoming personal challenges and impurities, leading to a more enlightened state of being.
Mystical Practices: Many esoteric traditions incorporate alchemical symbols and practices, viewing them as pathways to deeper understanding and connection with the universe.
An ancient science believed to have arise in Egypt. It was believed that metals possessed magical powers when in their alloy form.
Alchemists sought to make gold from lesser base materials; a second goal was to discover the “elixir of life,” from which liquid would yield immortality.
The term Alchemy has also been used as a metaphor to describe the spiritual perfection one achieves when expunging the various maladies that keep the soul in darkness.
Alchemy is also used a metaphor by what some call “New Agers” to describe the old world.
In this New Age, a major paradigm shift. Some describe this new paradigm as being a movement from alchemy to algeny.
